
Aron M. Deutinger, Psy.D., M.S.C.P.
Dr. Deutinger holds degrees in biology, psychology, and clinical psychopharmacology. His doctoral education and training is in the fields of clinical psychology, neuropsychology, and psychiatric medicine. Dr. Deutinger has spent more than 15 years providing clinical, forensic, and consultative services. Since early in his career he has been providing psychological evaluations, treatment recommendations, and opinion in a variety of clinical and forensic contexts, including but not limited to, The Permanente Medical Group at Kaiser Permanente, The California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation, and The California Superior Court.

Dr. Deutinger has committed much of his clinical practice to evaluating and treating the mild to severely mentally ill. Over his career, he has been asked to opine on issues surrounding child custody matters and correctional disciplinary hearings, involving influence of psychopathology and potential for mitigating factors. He is called upon to assist with psychologically complex cases, addressing questions of differential diagnosis, and feigning of psychological and neuropsychological deficits.
In addition to clinical and forensic work, Dr. Deutinger enjoys training psychology and psychiatry residents, as well as, engaging in community outreach services, educating the public on issues related to mental illness, obtaining treatment, and helping their loved ones.
